The internet has continuously grown and evolved over the years and it seems like there is something new and exciting coming up that is the new hit online. Blogs have been around for quite some time and it seems that blogging is the new trend of the internet. Can blogging be a new career?
Blogging for a living and running it as a career is possible and it has a number of benefits. Many people are blogging for a living because of how easy it is and how beneficial it can be for you and any business or web sites you may have.
Perhaps the best thing about blogging is that you have total control over what happens.You can say whatever you want, start any type of conversation you like, and change the direction of the conversation at any time. Many people like the freedom and ability to do whatever they feel like with blogs.
In addition, many like the fact that it is much less formal and more conversational. You can still act professional, but you do not necessarily have to be in sells mode the entire time. You can be more relaxed and just go with the flow. It may seem ridiculous that you can actually make money and make a living out of something so casual, but that is exactly what attracts so many people to this.

You can create whatever design you choose to, do whatever font and style you wish, and change the entire page however many times you want. I designed a site for a mother who is selling a book about parenting. Included in the site is a blog. While she hasn't made money directly from blogging, that constant stream of content is really raising her rankings and driving lots of customers to purchase her book.
Blogging is the number one way to make money on the internet, directly or indirectly.
I'm on the cusp of really making a go of blogging, and making websites that earn a little money, so that I can live my life on my own terms. I'm not earning much money, yet, but I'm really referring to being psychologically committed when I say that I'm close to 'making a go' of it.

bloggers can definitely make a living online, there are a lot of success stories out there and how quickly you get there depends on what your goals are etc.
the trick is to grow your blog the right way and eventually monetize the traffic, but during the early stages treat it like a child and help it grow :)
Yeah, I agree with other people that you can earn money on your blog. I've started writing for fun and some companies wanted to have ads on my blog so I sell them space for banners. Now I have a little cash for server and domain fees and even for some beer with my friends;)
I do blogging for hobby. And it's good that it takes no money other than a PC and internet coonection ;)
Blogging as a mean of living really takes hardwork, lots of time and lots of patience. When you do lots of this, then in the end, blogging for a living really makes your life easy.

It is a definite possibility. I've been working at it and... it's been kind of rocky at first. But, there are success stories and I think that this is an option for a successful and rewarding career.
